I am now offering exchange hunts for the experienced Australian or North American hunter looking to hunt NZ.

This consists of hunts semi-guided by me, to the North Island for sika during April or a chamois hunt in South Westland over the Christmas break in summer.

For these trips I pretty much organise everything including transport, food and flights into the mountains. I will then point you in the right direction for the animals we are after. We can hunt together or separately.

You will need to book your flights to NZ and have suitable equipment. I will provide all the information you need regarding gear, and meet you at the airport so we can go hunting. This is not a commercial enterprise as the only costs are for expenses (hire car, flights etc) and are shared with me. Parties will consist of only one or two hunters plus myself.

In exchange I am looking for quality free range hunts in Australia for deer or pigs, using bow or rifle; or in North America for javelina, elk or whitetail.

I am only doing one Sika hunt per year and one South Island alpine hunt.

This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced Aussie or American hunter who wants to hunt in NZ but doesn't really know where to start or doesn't want to pay for an expensive guided hunt.
