Early March already and the water has cleared in Northern NSW. Rain Rain stay away... There are a few Spanish Mackeral around and here is a photo of my friend Gareth with his first NSW Spanish Mackeral. Spun up on with a 60 gram raider and no wire!! A NSW Spanish Mackeral is a rare achievement so well done Gareth!
Have some good trips coming up Including:
-
Lord Howe Island for a week spinning and live baiting for YFT and kingfish. I hope to do some jigging and trolling as well.
-
A Sika bow hunt in NZ in April
-
A Rusa Bow hunt in the wild Gulf Country of North QLD
-
In between that there will be plenty of land based fishing adventures ( if it ever stops raining )
