YouTube is a great repository of multimedia product reviews.
However, I do take issue with many reviews. Even though they are labeled as a product test or review, they are clearly more like a showcase or sales pitch.
For this reason, I have also steered away from shooting and fishing magazines. These days they seem to be full of advertising and the product reviews tend to be positive and glowing, even if the product showcased is clearly of lower quality..
This is misleading. A true product test or review will discuss the pros and cons of a product. How well it performs, its durability and service levels provided by the vendor.
My product reviews are real reviews based on my experience field-testing equipment. I will pull no punches when I have a bad experience but I will also give credit where it's due.
